Summerwoods

Summerwoods is a Kolter Land Partners project that leverages renewable energy through the installation of solar streetlights. Located in Parrish County, Florida, convenient to I-75, this community is designed for anyone who wants easy access to St. Pete, Bradenton, and Sarasota. Community amenities include a resort-style pool with pavilion, walking trails and a playground.

Starting with 295 custom-designed, 35-watt Bell Head fixtures, all the important areas of Summerwoods are well lit, providing lighting 365 days a year even when the grid is down. To keep the community safe, lighting is concentrated at cross walks, mailboxes, and intersections. This project uses Recovered Energy Technologies’ exclusive “Solar Light as a Service” program, providing lighting for a monthly fee. All maintenance upgrades and repairs are covered by the program.
